Peter’s Work

Peter and I have been close friends since my Toronto days in the 80s and 90s.

When I’m in Toronto, I stay with him and his partner, Ron Gidge. Peter is a rock and an overall great guy. He is an artist in his own right. And as the graphic designer for In Mr. Handsome’s Garden, he not only knitted my words and Catherine’s art together, but he created an overarching presentation for the book that, in itself, was a creative inspiration.

During the two years it took to develop this book, Peter’s guidance, ideas and enthusiasm were uplifting and inspiring to both Catherine and me.

Peter’s Etchings

As an artist, Peter has a sensitive hand, which I’m guessing is one reason that he now does his own etchings – yes, on copper or zinc; yes, as Rembrandt did. Here are my favorites. Visit Peter’s site to purchase or to see more.
